Have you tried the chocolate banana “nice” cream from my blog yet? It’s beyond delicious but I have some vanilla lovers in my family so I recreated the sweet treat to be vanilla-friendly and just as delicious! The “nice” cream is so refreshing, satisfying, and got 2 thumbs up from my 5 year old nephew!
INGREDIENTS
-
3 frozen bananas
-
2 cups of frozen strawberries
-
1/2 cup of almond milk or your milk of choice
-
2 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
-
Freeze 3 bananas and 2 cups of frozen strawberries ahead of time
-
Put bananas, strawberries, almond milk, and vanilla extract in blender or food processor
-
Blend together until smooth (note: the mixture should be pretty thick because you are turning it into ice cream!)
-
Feel free to mix in any toppings at this point! For example: 2 tbsp of chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, 1/2 tbsp of sprinkles, 1 tsp cinnamon, etc.
-
Once blended, transfer to a bowl and freeze for ~35 minutes.
-
Scoop it out like ice cream or dig in like a smoothie bowl :)

NOTES
-
Banana nice cream is easily adaptable and can be customized however way you’d like! If you’re a peanut butter lover, feel free to add an extra scoop in there! Not a chocolate fan? Substitute the cocoa powder with some vanilla extract, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon! Whatever your taste preference is, you can start blending, taste test the ice cream, and add ingredients accordingly!
-
I freeze my bananas when they are overripe and browning but the recipe will also taste just as good with frozen ripe bananas!

ENJOY!
