These brussels sprouts are the perfect pair to any dish. They’re perfectly crunchy and sweet, with a little spicy kick! Brussels sprouts are a cruciferous vegetable that are high in fiber, vitamin C, and vitamin K which both play a role in bone health. This recipe is a no-fail crowd pleaser, and a perfect way to turn anyone onto loving this dark green veggie!
INGREDIENTS

3 cups brussels sprouts (cut into 1/4’s)

2 tbsp avocado oil

1 tbsp pure maple syrup

1/2 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp pepper
-
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
-
1/2 tsp chili flakes

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven: 400 degrees F

Large mixing bowl: mix oil, maple syrup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes. Set aside

Chop brussels sprouts into 1/4, lengthwise. Add to bowl with spices and oil

Lay brussels sprouts, in a single layer, on a lined baking sheet

Bake for about 25 minutes, or until desired crunchiness :)
